Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services. To use this website, you must accept these terms and conditions in full and agree to use this website in accordance with these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between you, the ‘user’, and Sassy’s Nail, trading as Sassy’s Nails, for all stages of your interaction with our business.

Book an appointment online.

When we book an appointment online, we need your name, phone number and email address. Without providing these details we will not be able to confirm your appointment. We use a third-party booking software company to process your appointment. We reserve the right to call you at the telephone number provided and request a deposit. If this request is denied, we may remove your appointment from our schedule, and you will receive an email notifying you that the appointment will no longer be valid.

Arrival Time

In order to have the best experience, we invite customers to arrive 10 minutes early for reservations to ensure there is enough time for check-in. As a courtesy to all our customers, a rush appointment schedule is maintained, late appointments may not be honoured. Treatment started late may be shortened depending on the next client.

Deposits

We reserve the right to request a deposit for any booking made online, over the phone or in our salon for future dates. We reserve the right to determine the amount of these deposits on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. The amount of the deposit can be anywhere up to 100% of the sales value of the services booked. Deposits are non-refundable. If you change your appointment up to 48 hours before the start time, we will move your deposit to your new time. If you change your appointment less than 48 hours before the start time, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and keep your deposit. If you cancel your booking at any time before the start time, you will lose your deposit.

Confirmation

When you book an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at booking@sassysnail.co.uk or on +44 7413696416.

If you wish to change your appointment time or date, contact us by phone +44 7413696416 or by message. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at booking@sassysnail.co.uk or text us on +44 7413696416. Sassy’s nails are not responsible if you think you have booked but have not received a confirmation email. If this happens, we will try to accommodate you as best we can, but you may need to visit again at another time and/or date.

Accuracy of meeting details

When booking an appointment, it is your responsibility to ensure accuracy prior to confirmation. Sassy’s nails are not responsible for errors in bookings, including but not limited to dates/times and booked services. Changes

You can change your appointment time and date for free up to 48 hours before the start time. If you have been charged a deposit, changing your appointment more than 48 hours before your appointment will result in your deposit being transferred to your new appointment booking.

You must contact Sassy’s nails by phone +44 7413696416 or email booking@sassysnail.co.uk to change your appointment less than 48 hours before the appointment.

If you change your appointment less than 48 hours before the start time, we reserve the right to either request a deposit or cancel your appointment entirely. You may be asked for a non-refundable deposit for future bookings. If you have paid a deposit and change your appointment less than 48 hours before the start time, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and will keep your deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Sassy’s nails operate a 48-hour cancellation policy on all phone, online and in-salon bookings. We are happy to cancel or reschedule appointments provided we have at least 48 hours notice. Failure to notify Sassy’s nails within 48 hours will result in a forfeited appointment and a 100% cancellation fee. Clients who are more than ten minutes late for appointments risk forfeiting their appointment and being charged in full. Please note that in case of late arrival we may not be able to carry out the full treatment, we reserve the right to charge the full value of the treatment carried out at the time of booking. Customers who repeatedly no-show and/or cancel their appointments may be refused future bookings.

Offline appointments

We are accepting appointment bookings by phone or at our nail salon for future dates. We reserve the right to charge a deposit up to the full value of the booked services for meetings on future dates. We will determine the deposit amount in our sole discretion.

Sassy’s nails changes & cancellations

If for any reason Sassy’s nails needs to make changes to the service, you have booked – changes including but not limited to changing the date/time of your booking or switching to a similar service – you have the option to decline the proposed change(s). We will then process a refund of your deposit. It will take 7-10 business days to process to your payment method.

If for any reason Sassy’s nails cancels your service at any time before your service starts, we will process a refund of your deposit (if any deposit was made). It will take 7-10 business days to process to your payment method.

Age Restrictions

You will be asked for your date of birth at Sassy Nails prior to your first service with us. You must provide your birth details as a legal requirement, otherwise we will not be able to fulfil your service. We have the following age restrictions:

Children aged 14 to 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service. The parent or guardian must complete our authorization and consultation forms.

We do not provide nail extension or painting services to anyone under the age of 16.

We do not provide gel services to persons under the age of 14.

All persons under the age of 18 will require signed permission from a parent or legal guardian.

ID will be required if we deem it necessary to comply with any of the age restrictions mentioned. If the ID cannot be provided, we will not be able to perform the service at that time. Services can then be booked for another time when ID can be provided. The ID must be a standard government document with a holographic mark, such as a passport or driver’s license.

If an appointment is booked online but you are unable to verify your age, if required to do so prior to your service, your service will be refused, and we reserve the right to charge you.

Durations

The number of minutes we have listed next to each service on the website and elsewhere is a guideline only. The service may last longer or shorter depending on factors including, but not limited to, the condition of your nails and the abilities of your nail technician.

Gift Cards

If you are paying with a gift card, you must provide details at the time of booking. Gift vouchers must be presented at reception on arrival for the booked procedure. Failure to attend an appointment will result in full or partial payment of your visit, which will be deducted from your gift voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for the period specified on the gift vouchers.

Sassy’s nails are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other vouchers. No changes will be made, but the balance will remain on the voucher until it expires.

Aftercare

We offer our customers appropriate aftercare advice related to their service here during your service by our technicians. If you are unsure about anything, you can contact us at info@sassysnails.co.uk

Complaints, fixes and repairs.

You can complain about your service, standard of service or anything else that affects your experience by emailing support@sassysnails.co.uk or by calling us on +44 7413696416.

We will repair any fault in gel services free of charge within 7 days of your appointment. However, we will not repair the damage free of charge if the damage was caused by activities that did not follow our aftercare advice. Our aftercare advice can be found in the Aftercare section. We reserve the right to use our own judgment to decide whether damage is caused by activities that are likely to cause nail damage and are contrary to our aftercare advice. In this situation we will charge £3 per nail for gel polish repairs and £5 per nail for hard gel nail extensions and gel overlay repairs. You need to reserve a date and time for the repair on +44 7413696416.

Outside the period of free repairs we will charge £3 per nail for gel polish repairs and £5 per nail for hard gel nail extensions and gel overlay repairs. Your date and time will need to be booked over the phone and you will be given a price for the repairs.

Standard/simple nail services are not guaranteed from the moment you leave Sassy’s Nail. You’ll get aftercare advice on both our service web pages and from our technicians on how to avoid smudging after you leave the salon. We accept no responsibility if this advice is not followed.

If you are not satisfied with your colour or nail art, this is not covered as a free repair. Please note that you can mention this to your technician during the service, but this may be charged at our standard ‘extra time’ rate.

Repairs must be booked and there is no guarantee that we will be able to arrange a repair if you complain to the salon. In this scenario, we will accommodate you at the next most convenient time for you. We advise you to make an appointment on the phone to guarantee a repair time.

Lost Property

We ask that customers look after their belongings while at Sassy’s Nails as we cannot accept responsibility for items left unattended.

Accuracy of medical information

The accuracy of the medical information you provide to Sassy’s nails is entirely your responsibility. If any details change, it is your responsibility to update Sassy’s Nail with the new details. If we are not voluntarily offered new details for future services, we will assume that your medical condition is unchanged from the initial consultation.

We do not treat nails with fungus on them, ingrown nails, calluses and corns! Which means we will reserve the right to refuse customers with the above conditions but may be charged or if a deposit is provided non-refundable.

Promotions

Various promotional offers run throughout the year and may have date and time restrictions. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with each other. Sassy’s nails reserve the right to cancel any promotions running at any time.

The Right to Refuse Treatments

We reserve the right to cancel your appointment at our discretion. Reasons for cancelling your appointment include, but are not limited to, previous no-shows, repeated lateness, abusive behaviour in the salon towards clients and technicians.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse treatment if disrespect and rudeness to Sassy’s nails staff is not tolerated.
