Do
Be especially careful during the first 24 hours after application and avoid extreme heat during this period (e.g., saunas, hot baths, sunbeds, etc.)
Use a cuticle oil daily to keep your nails nourished, stimulate growth and prevent lifting.
Dry hands well after washing and moisturize them.
Always wear rubber gloves when washing, cleaning or gardening.
Always wash your hands thoroughly after contact with chlorine, insect repellent or sunscreen.
Wear gloves when cooking with spices such as turmeric or curry powder, as they can stain nails. Dye from new jeans or freshly dyed hair can also stain gel polish.
Always return to the salon for maintenance and removal and follow any advice given to you by your manicurist. The maintenance time for a gel manicure is 3 weeks /maximum of 4 weeks, if the nails are longer than 4-5 mm, the recommended maintenance is every 2 weeks /maximum of 3 weeks.
Avoid
Avoid using your nails as tools, as this can cause them to crack or break. Instead, use the pads of your fingers (for example, when typing).
Avoid long periods of time in water (eg long baths, swimming, washing, etc.).
Avoid tearing or peeling off the product as this can damage your natural nails.
Avoid filing your nails and pushing the cuticles back as this will disrupt the seal of the nail polish and can lead to breakage.
